1. Acceptance of terms
By using JoinMouth, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. JoinMouth is a civic petition platform available to users in Nigeria and the Nigerian diaspora.
2. Who can use JoinMouth
You must be at least 18 years old to create a petition or sign a verified petition. Anyone may sign an open petition. By using the platform you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.
3. Petition content
Petition creators are solely responsible for the content of their petitions. Petitions must be lawful, peaceful, and factually grounded. JoinMouth reserves the right to remove any petition that is defamatory, hateful, fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful without notice.
4. Signatures
By signing a petition you confirm that you support the demand stated and consent to your name and state being displayed publicly if you selected that option. Verified signatures require a valid Nigerian phone number. Submitting false information to sign a petition is a violation of these terms.
5. Payments
Payments for verified petition budgets are processed by Paystack and are subject to their terms of service. JoinMouth does not store card details. Budgets are non-refundable once signatures have been collected against them.

The content you submit to JoinMouth remains yours. By submitting it you grant JoinMouth a licence to display, distribute, and use it for the purpose of operating the platform.
7. Limitation of liability
JoinMouth is a platform for civic expression. We do not guarantee that any petition will result in a particular outcome. We are not responsible for the actions or inactions of institutions that receive petitions.
